Dr. Tardieu is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of shoulder, knee and hip problems. He uses the most current techniques and technologies to provide his patients with leading edge therapy to allow for optimum speed of recovery and return of function.
These procedures include arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee and hip. Minimal incision anterior hip joint replacement, minimal incision knee replacement with computer assisted navigation.
Dr. Tardieu obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Houston graduating cum laude. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco.
A native Californian, Dr. Tardieu grew up in San Jose and competed in track and field throughout high school and college. He enjoys living on the Central Coast where he has been practicing orthopedic surgery since completing his residency in 1994.
Dr. Tardieu¿s professional affiliations include membership in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, California Orthopedic Association, Western Orthopedic Association, and Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He volunteers as the Medical Director for the California Rodeo.
